This website is run by IZOL LIMITED, a company registered in England and Wales, trading as Izol Academic Atelier. We are the "controller" of your personal data.

• Contact form: your name, phone number, email, the lesson you are interested in and your message.
• WhatsApp, phone and email conversations: what you share when you contact us through these channels.
• Lesson details: level, learning goals, schedule and progress notes.
• Information about children: name, age and learning needs shared by a parent or guardian (see section 4).
• Payment records: lesson fees, dates and amounts. We do not store card details.
• Technical data: your IP address and browser details are processed by our hosting server and font provider when you visit. Your language and cookie choices are stored only in your own browser (see our Cookie Policy).

We process your data under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018:

• Replying to your enquiry and arranging lessons: steps before entering a contract, and performing the contract.
• Teaching and tracking progress: performing the contract.
• Accounting and tax records: legal obligation.
• Keeping the website secure and improving our service: legitimate interests.
• Optional processing such as recording a lesson: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for their marketing.

We teach children aged 5–12. We collect information about children only from a parent or guardian and do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children under 13.

We use children's information only to plan and deliver their lessons. A parent or guardian can exercise every right in this policy on the child's behalf.

Lessons are not recorded unless agreed in writing beforehand. If a recording is agreed (with a parent's or guardian's consent for children), it is shared only with the student and their family and deleted once it is no longer needed.

• Email services: contact form messages and automatic replies are sent through our email server, and our inbox is hosted by Google (Gmail).
• WhatsApp (Meta): if you use our WhatsApp buttons, the conversation takes place on WhatsApp and is covered by Meta's privacy policy.
• Google Fonts: the site's fonts load from Google's servers, which receive your IP address.
• Our hosting provider: processes the technical data needed to run the website.
• Accountants and authorities: only where the law requires it (for example HMRC).

Google and Meta may process data outside the UK, for example in the United States. Where this happens, transfers rely on UK adequacy regulations (such as the UK–US "data bridge") or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.

• Enquiries that do not lead to lessons: up to 12 months.
• Student and lesson records: up to 12 months after the last lesson.
• Payment and accounting records: 6 years, as UK law requires.

After these periods the data is deleted or anonymised.

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access your data, have it corrected or erased, restrict or object to its use, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time.

We limit access to your data to the people who need it to provide your lessons. No system is risk-free, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data.

We update this policy when needed. The current version is always published on this page with the date shown above.
